Human Warning Sign. Just in case you are unaware of the dangers of the Fairy Ring don’t say we didn’t warn you! Fairies, in wild enthusiasm, dance frenetically in a circle to enticing and hypnotic music. The unsuspecting human being, say, on a daily jog, is innocently drawn by the powerful energy and seductive melody right smack into the Fairy Ring. Well, that’s when you’re in big trouble. While caught up in the excitement you might think you’ve been dancing only for a matter of minutes, while in fact you’ve been spinning for years! Could be eight or ten! Could be more! It is possible to be rescued by a friend if they discover where you’ve disappeared to but then your friend needs to be firmly planted outside of the ring. This little sign is a strong reminder to Never, ever step inside a fairy ring.
