Kathryn Curry Swenson grew
up in Bellevue, Washington where the lush, mysterious forest located
right in her backyard not only inspired her lifelong passion
for gardening, but also her continued delight in the tiny, mystical
world of fairies. Kathryn’s studies in art and design lead her
lifelong career as a painter and architectural/interior designer.
As a culmination of her love for horticulture, architecture and design,
Kathryn began creating her own fairy gardens in the mid-1990s on her
own property. These small gardens spawned the inception of Gnomenculture,
a company, where her childhood imaginings have finally taken tangible
form. |
