Gai Skramstad - Excelsior, MN

My name is Gai Skramstad from Excelsior, MN. I grew up in Australia and lived with fairy culture from day one. My sisters and friends would build fairy houses in each others gardens when we were little... out of rocks and sticks and leaves etc... Our mothers would check every day to see where the latest house appeared and put a threepence or sixpenny coin inside to surprise us...from the fairies of course.

When I first saw the display of The Fairy's Garden at a "Home" show in Minneapolis, I knew I had to have one in my garden. The first spot I chose was in a raised planter on my patio under a Pagoda Dogwood tree. The fairy in me appeared once again ( I even have a fairy outfit with wings and wand!) and here are the results...
